I've been standing at the intersection of complex systems and the humans who use them for fifteen years. MySpace. Mobile apps before the iPhone. Fintech across three continents. Every wave, the same question: how do you make powerful technology feel trustworthy?
What fascinated me was simpler and stranger: every word ever written, every idea ever published, was becoming food. The models were eating our culture and remixing it into something new. And if that's true — if the food really is the foundation — then what we feed these things matters enormously. Garbage in, garbage out. Not just technically. Morally.
Two years later, tools like Claude Code can dissolve most of the difficulty around coding and infrastructure. But the decisions don't go away. Someone still has to choose what gets built, what gets trusted, and what gets checked.
